According to recent data, the population of people aged 100 and above in the UK has doubled from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.

From 2004 and 2024, the number of men aged 100 or over has grown by 200% from 910 to 3,100. During the identical years, the amount of women aged 100 or over increased by nearly 100% from 7,400 to 13,600.
